Playing at Carolyns pumpkin patch
Dusty & I are still working opposite schedules sometimes, as he is on a flex schedule and sometimes works nights or weekends, but we have hope that something much better will come along SOON! I've started a new role at Cerner and am now on the global mobility team, meaning our team is responsible for all domestic and international relocation and assignments for Cerner. I support the Asia Pacific region (Australia, Malaysia & Singapore) and work off hours occasionally to communicate with the different time zones, which is not too bad because Rostin is usually asleep by the time I have my calls at night, so it doesn't cut into my monkey man time!
Rostin just turned 1, and is a crazy ball of energy. He is RUNNING around, gets into everything and keeps us on our toes. Dusty & I love the age he is at, he is so much fun yet exhausting at the same time, which i'm sure i'll be saying for quite some time now. He now says Mama, dada, dog, more, hi, bye and a few other words that only he can decipher :) He LOVES to dance, and does so anytime music is on and you cant help but to dance with him once he gets going, I will try to upload a video of this soon.
We have all been sick the last week with a horrible flu and are finally starting to get back to our old selves and hopefully will be healthy through the next couple of months. The weather is starting to get pretty cold, so we are making the most of the warmer days and playing outside before it becomes winter.
Rostin has a Halloween parade next week at school and we are getting his costume in the mail today, I will be sure to post a picture of the cutest lion you will ever see :)
More to come soon-
~Heather~
